    1. Warm-Up Sequence
    Begin by building awareness of your breath, body, and mind. You may practice this warm-up sequence before the others or on its own -even while taking a short break from the computer. A fantastic way to relax your mind and invigorate your body.

    2. Standing Poses
    Standing Poses increase strength and flexibility. As you practice them, focus your awareness on the breath. These poses revitalize and energize your entire body, tone and strengthen muscle, encourage weight loss and help correct your posture.

    3. Sitting Poses
    This series of poses will firm and tone your leg muscles while increasing flexibility in the hips and spine. Sitting poses ease lower and upper back pain, relax your mind and improve blood circulation throughout the body. Be ready to dissolve stress and open your body.

    4. Restorative Yoga
    Also known as active relaxation, Restorative Yoga uses props and supports to stimulate and relax the body, reduce stress and cultivate balance.

    About Kanta Barrios
    Anusara Inspired Teacher Kanta had her first experience of yoga at the age of six in her hometown Mexico City. She spent 12 years as a long term resident student of yoga, meditation, and philosophy in Siddha Yoga Meditation Ashrams in India, the United States and around the world traveling with her main teacher, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. She has also studied thousands of hours with some of the world's leading Yoga Schools: among them Anusara Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga and Vinyasa Flow.
    Kanta's teaching is creative and dynamic with a strong emphasis on breathing and alignment to cultivate strength, develop awareness and help students find balance, light-heartedness, and rejuvenation within themselves.

    In her teaching she expresses her deep love and gratitude for yoga and her teachers and joyfully shares her lifelong experience and practice with her students.
